“Methods of Preventing Proffessional Burnout Syndrom for Teachers”

The opening meeting of “Methods for Preventing Professional Burnout for Teachers”project on Sharing Good Practices and Module Building, prepared by the Konya Provincial Directorate of National Education Projects Team, was held on 03 April 2019 at Mevlana Teachers’ Conference Hall.

In his opening speech, Deputy Director of Konya Provincial National Education Directorate Servet Altuntaş after sharing the general information about the project said that, our teachers should get rid of the “classical teacher” understanding and follow the present world well. As Hz. Mevlana said, “Any words of yesterday went with yesterday my dear. we need to say new things now”, he emphasized the importance of being a pioneer in innovation.

KTO Karatay University Head of Child Development Department Dr. Lecturer Hatice Yalçın, after giving information about the process of getting involved in the project, emphasized that a teacher should never experience burnout.

Konya Provincial Director of National Education Seyit Ali Büyük people, began his speech saying we need to grow a life and time-sensitive generation. Emphasizing that the new generation is having trouble in managing time and in many flows of life, Büyük said that they will gradually put an end to the ringing system in schools. He said that a generation that is acting with responsibility and not with commands should be raised. At this stage, adding that the teachers have the biggest responsibility, “There should be no burnout for the teacher, “he said. He also congratulated everyone who contributed to the preparation of the project.

Konya Provincial National Education Director Seyit Ali Büyük, Deputy Director of Provincial National Education Servet Altuntaş and KTO Karatay University Head of Child Development Department Hatice Yalçın  attended the program as well as the 64 teachers who work in various schools of our province and and went to various European countries within the scope of the project
